How we use your details

The Elsayed Health Foundation is a charity being registered in England and Wales as a charitable company. We decide how the details you give us are used, which makes us their controller under UK data protection law.

You can contact us about your details at hello@elsayedfoundation.org.

When you fill in the form to register your interest, we collect:

• your full name
• your email address
• your profession
• the country you work in
• the ways you would like to be involved, such as applying for a grant, joining as an Associate or coming to the lecture
• anything you choose to write in the optional notes box

Please do not put health information or other sensitive details in the notes box.

To tell you when our registration as a charity completes, and to contact you about the things you said you are interested in: joining, applying for a grant or award, or helping, for example by giving or offering your expertise.

We will not use your details for anything else, and we will never sell them.

Your consent. You give it when you send us the form.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing hello@elsayedfoundation.org. We will then stop contacting you and delete your details. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did with your details before you withdrew it.

• Our trustees, who use them only for the purposes above.
• Our email and website hosting providers, who store and handle your details for us. They act only on our instructions, under contracts that protect your details.

Some of these providers may store your details outside the UK. When they do, we make sure the safeguards UK law requires are in place.

We do not share your details with anyone else unless the law requires us to.

Until you ask us to delete them, or two years after we were last in touch with you, whichever comes first.

You have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the details we hold about you
• ask us to correct anything that is wrong or incomplete
• ask us to delete your details
• withdraw your consent at any time

To use any of these rights, email hello@elsayedfoundation.org. There is no charge, and we will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.

This site does not set cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. Our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs, including IP addresses, to run and protect the site. Our fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser also connects to Google's servers when you visit.
